Hey people, this one's a post from someone who has been my friend, philosopher and guide from a very long time. I look up to him. His name is Aditya Sinha and he studies at DTU. Here it goes..

Its not even when a child is born aspirations of college thunder up over the entire family. Ofcourse who doesn’t remember “Mera Beta Farhan Quereshi Engineer Banega”. Farhan was just a generalization of a million budding engineers and doctors whose fates are sealed with their thoughts.Rat-race starts here and the Pied Piper of pay packages drives them to  a cliff – IITJEE or DPMT or CATE or CAT whichever  version you prefer.Result is the same –some cross it (by some I mean a very few) while others are –BORN LOSERS,RETARDS,NOT-MEANT-FOR STUDIES…and numerous hindi  dictionaries mention them as LAFANGEY.

Asking One of those who crossed the cliff being a LAFANGA gives me a sigh of relief.Heres a description of what he said :

My college starts with a huge gate with a LOGO that says something in Sanskrit but I read it as “Proceed at your Own risk”. Classes are overstuffed and wasting even a second  gives you a bad image of being a scoundrel in a college that boasts of “ANUSHASAN” in a heavy Bachachan Voice.

Teachers are great. There is no better source of learning a subject from the maker of subject.

But in case you are a normal person with a  normal IQ: sorry classroom is not for you.Check out a cheap guide to pass or get a BACK.

Sports facilities are excellent but who has time to play here except the winds and equipment.

Latenight last moment studies are in Vogue.They are Like Viagras that help you perform in the test that beeps off in next few hours.

The sharp peaks show that it’s the red alert of the paper next morning that my college mates vandalise the internet in desperation to fetch marks.

Neverthough its only the feeling of sacrifice and achieving that gets us going through the ordeal and LAFANGEY’s don’t get disheartened we crave for the way you enjoy and live.
